Grief occurs after a loss of a loved one, it is feeling of sadness but it is usually mixed with flashes of good memories of the past and also personal self-worth is maintained, but depression is persistent sadness without remembrance of any good past, and worthless self feeling that is consistent and persistent.
Signs
1 – Persistent feeling of sadness.
2 – Suicidal thoughts, plans of death.
3 – Excessive guilt feeling and unrealistic low self-esteem and image, feeling worthless.
4 – Loss of concentration at work, school and sharp fall in productivity or grades.
